Our Trail Talks series is one of the key ways we connect directly with the xTx community!

Through ongoing engaging lunch & learns via Zoom, as well as in person meet & greets around the state - you get to hear directly from Charlie Gandy, the founder himself and/or our Executive Director Laura Wood.

At least once a quarter Charlie and Laura will give updates on the trail, host listening sessions in the rural communities we’re partnering with as Trailhead Towns, and informative conversations with experts in the various aspects of successful trail development.

Topics will include everything from digital mapping, successful Trailhead Town development (lessons from those who are excelling at it already, how to apply for available grant funding, telling the history and unique stories well), how to best engage the various interest groups (i.e. hikers, cyclists, equestrians, trail angels), and more.
